This week we tackled inking and cross hatching in preparation for the final DRAW assignment. As the accompanying images show, students had to rough out the subject in pencil before drawing over it with a pen. Photo was referenced here.

This was an exercise for my 1st year students to gauge their drawing skills at the start of the semester. They had about 1hr 30 min to complete it as best they can. I thought it would be good practice and joined in. Done in pencil from a picture reference. 🙂
