It’s been more than 3 years since I updated this blog. I kept coming back to this site and cringed at how neglected it was. Then I tell myself I’ll work on it soon, and the days go by, and I keep paying the annual fees to maintain it without doing anything about it. Until recently. Having to work from home due to the COVID-19 outbreak and enforced Circuit Breaker measures, I needed to feel productive beyond work-hours and thought this project just might help. So I’ve reset my admin password, replaced the old WordPress theme, updated my “About Me” page, and refurbished my gallery. I’ve also removed previous posts I deemed uninteresting, ugly or just a waste of space.
Here’s the plan:
- I will keep up my sketching and upload my artwork here (as I update my Instagram account concurrently).
- I will post more thoughtful, reasonably written reviews of books I’ve read (as I update my Goodreads account) and online courses I’ve attended.
- I will bring up my pet topics of education and/or parenting, and invite comments and discussions from my visitors.
At the very least this will be a repository for my works and my thoughts – my online open diary/portfolio. I will try harder to keep my posts regular and make a habit of updating this site. I want to use it to help build better discipline and structure in my personal life.
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!
