As preparation for the DRAW test next week, students were tasked to depict a set objects made of different materials: metal, glass and fabric. Pencil on A3 paper.
This week for DRAW students had a couple of hours to draw a set of objects placed under a single directional light. The emphasis is still on proportion and values. Done in pencil on A3 paper.
This was an exercise for my 1st year students to gauge their drawing skills at the start of the semester. They had about 1hr 30 min to complete it as best they can. I thought it would be good practice and joined in. Done in pencil from a picture reference. 🙂
